Hey all,

our group recently got into Flames of War and we are looking for others around the area that play. Anybody want to come by and get some Mid War 1500 pt games going?

Mid or late war?? All my Armies are mid-war, although my germans could work with late war as well.

Got some good news for you then we're doing a FoW mid-war tournament at Arsenal Games and hobbies in August. It'll be set at 1750 pts and three games will be played.

Yup I beleave that was Chris and Cory, both of which are just now getting into FoW. The game really doesnt take long to get a firm grasp on as it is very straight foward and everything is well balanced in the points dept. For instance in mid-war if I run two Tigers its halve of my 1500 pt list. They're beastial in Mid-war but cost alot of points so loseing one really hurts where it counts. Im currently work on my Italians but Im starting a British Tunisa infantry tank company because its nasty and will compete pretty well in mid-war as Churchill III's are some pretty tought bugers, plus it saves me on money seeing how Ill only need 8 Churchhill III's and two Churchill I's. Ill have no artillery and very little in the way of AA and a unit of Commandos and some universal carriers with two mg's each. It comes out to 1740 so it's all good for tournaments in our area and up in Greenville or Atlanta, if I decide to make a trip out those ways. By the way Americans have the best artillery in the game hands down so make sure you have at least two batteries.
