I think I've been doing this wrong.

1.) When firing a rocket/rokkit/etc, it should not scatter - right? Just using BS for a hit or miss?
2.) Ordnance such as the SAG does scatter. This, I get.
3.) Flamer templates deny cover saves. They don't apply to the other templates (unless specified elsewhere) right?

and, bonus "doing it wrong"...

4.) When you fire a Krak missile at, say, 5 orks - how many of them take wounds at Krak's STR? If the right answer is "all of them, just like a frag" why ever fire frags anyway? This one I'm pretty confident I'm screwing up.

Thank you all for your continued advice and help.

1) ALL blast weapons scatter now.
2) Right!
3) Just flamer template weapons.

4) Krak is one shot, not using a small blast template.

If it uses a blast marker, it scatters.

Flamers use templates, the others should be refered to as blast markers (even GW flubs this on occation). Templates ignore cover.

Krak has a chance to cause 1 wound, frag can cause as many wounds as the marker covers models.

Oh snap - we were doing it right! We've been scattering all templates, and if it was a krak, using the model under the hole if it scattered.

Thanks guys!

Krak missiles do not scatter.
Frag missiles do.

Krak missiles don't use a blast marker...

Krak missiles dont use a blast - if you notice Kraks are noted as simply heavy/1, not heavy/blast (or large blast)

So you roll to hit with the BS of the firing model, and assuming you are in range and hit you roll to wound a model in the unit.
