Hey all, as some of you might know, I'm starting a lizardmen army. (here's the forum: http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/296395.page) and as gendoikari89 said (quote from forum):
gendaikori89 wrote:seriously Kroxigors, yes they are metal but if you are doing an all skink army for either fluff or game purposes kroxigors are invaluble.

I think his opinion is reasonable for me to include kroxigors, but I have a REALLY big dislike for metal models and as most of of you would know, I'm just way too cheap. So since I'm doing an all-skink army, a plausible piece of fluff started forming in my mind:
When the Slann Mage-priest heard of the Norse warm-bloods invading the forests of the old ones, they were outraged. Lord Kroak, still alive at the time, ordered a band of skinks to flush out the Norse settlement of Skeggi immediately, underestimating the Norse. The skinks were captured and tortured, to no avail. One night, A few of the skinks managed to escape, along with one of their few Chameleons. However, they did not return to their temple city. The skinks, influenced by the shadowy tendrils of chaos, which invaded them in their captivity, bore a hatred for their kin back at the temple-city of Tlaxtlan, for not sending anyone to rescue them. as they lived in solitude, they discovered and alternative method of reproduction.(do I have to spell it out for you?)With this new-found power, the skinks quickly amassed an army of suitable size. As the skinks massed, the chaos god of Tzeench caught wind of their operation. When he realized that he could sucessfully sway the renagade lizardmen over to the side of chaos with a "gift" of suitable type, he disguised himself as a skink priest, and "blessed" one of the army's stronger skinks. The next day, that particular skink and mutated into a monster of incredible size and strength. The transition had begun. Well, what do you think? Basically I want the models to still look skink-y, with the vertical head crest and stuff, but still over-mutated, sort of like Skaven rat-ogres. I'm looking for something reasonably priced (on a value aspect, so say 45$ for 3 plastics instead of 22$ for one metal etc.) and PLASTIC. Thanks in advanced!

And before any mods move tis forum to the 'fluff' section, I have one thing to say: I only listed out the whole fluff so as to help give the guys on this site an idea of what I want. I'm going to start a new thread specifically for the fluff of my army.
