Hello all,

I'm totally new to wargaming, and am trying to plan for the future. I want to get items that allow me to play ASAP, but not be useless in larger armies.
I am picking up a used collection this weekend of 2x the AoBR Orks, plus a box of boys(hopefully not the 4 pack), and a codex.
I have about $100 to spend on top of that. I can get items from a friend's store at cost, and really am not sure if I want to stay with the orks.
I like the necrons, but heard they are due for a revamp, so I guess I'll wait.
Tyranids looks cool too, and have my attention at the moment.

Soooo, with my ~$100, would it be more usefull to place an order for a codex and battle box of a new army, or add to my orks? I am seriously up for any advice.

Thanks for any responses.

Well, you already have the Orks started, so I say go for them. I'd buy a battlewagon and a box of nobz to add to the AoBR nobz, and the battlewagon can be their ride.

Nids are cool too though. If you wanted to start them the battleforce is an okay start. Don't bother with Necrons.

I'd start to look for transports for that massive load of boys you're gonna have.

Other than that the Brother upstairs ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ pretty much tells it like it is.

Thanks for the info. I got all excited about shopping fast before my friend put his last order in pre-pricehike. I decided to wait until I get the ork codex in the deal I mentioned, and know what things cost in points.
