Recently, I have started painting my first tanks, dreds, etc. Everything i do with them seems to go wrong though. Are there any tips you guys have about painting large models?

I use a large brush and a lot of paicence. What exactly is going wrong? If it's paint thickness make sure you water down you paints. If the paint isn't sticking, wash the tank in warm water and soap (I did this pretty recently and comparing it to an unwashed sprue it was an almost completly different colour of plastic)

I'm sure if I had a better idea of what was going on I could help you more.

Edit: Stange things are going on, I double posted, edited to say it was a double post, then the original post disapeared. Humph.

Simple Green in the US seems to be the consensus of our American brethren when it comes to stripping plastics.

If you are able get a photo or two up for the guys on here, they'll have a much better gauge of your 'problems' from the pictures. Failing that just like wizard said tell us a little more about what the problem is, perhaps your method atm and the paints/products you are using.

No trees were hurt in the making of this sig, however many electrons were disturbed.
