I'm still new, I hope this isn't a dumb question.

I was under the impression that all units had to shoot at the same unit with all guns during the same shooting phase. So for example on a Baal Pred, I couldn't shoot three different units with the TL: AC, and two Heavy Bolters.

I recently read a post here however that stated a Stormraven Gunship could shoot 4 bloodstrikes at one target, unload its TL:AC at something else, and a typhoon ML on a 3rd target.

Is this allowed? If so, where are the rules that state it? Also - I was under the impression that the bloodstrike missles were a weapon system, and as such could only fire once per shooting phase. However they are listed as one shot.. does that mean that all 4 can be tumped on a target of opportunity in one phase?

Hi worms.

Whoever told you that was slightly mistaken. The Stormraven has the "Power of the Machine Spirit" special rule, which lets it, among other things, fire a single weapon at a 2nd target if it wants. Full details can be found in Codex Blood Angels (or Spess Mahrines or Spess Puppehs, it's the same rule). There is no way for it to fire at a 3rd target at all.

As for the Bloodstrikes, they are not 1 Weapon System that can fire 4 times (Like the Manticores Storm Eagle Rockets) they are 4 weapons that fire once, so you can fire all 4 of them if you are able to fire all your weapons.
