So I decided to add some sentinels to my Guard army. Going with the sort of recon theme, they're scout sentinels. There are 3 in all:

With all their magnetized options (because seriously, lascannons on BS3 models are a joke)

He's just so happy to be here!

Anyway, let me know what you think! I don't see many of them around... well, anywhere.

It's for June and I screwed up the date on the title card. Magnets are pretty sciencey though.

Well, that's because they have to compete with vendettas and hellhounds. I like them, and yours look great, but they just can't compete in my book compared with the amount of hurt that 3 hellhounds can lay down. Having that been said, I actually have 10 of those guys I'm running in an Apoc formation this weekend.

These looked great in person during our game yesterday. Looked even better to me after I had a couple weapon destroyed results

On that note and what daedalus said.

I think Sents would be more valid if you could even just buy a Storm bolter or something to up their firepower.

3 Hellhounds are pretty awesome, but one Hellhound costs the same as this whole squadron!

Thanks for the comments everybody!

I was thinking about magnetizing the ammo feeds but it seemed kind of unnecessary - just the lasboxes will work well enough, methinks. I might do that for the armored Sentinel squadron I'm working on next though - wouldn't want to cut off the plasma cannons' feeds, since they're pretty cool.
