Just to set it up. I am returning to the hobby after a hiatus. I was an eldar player, but for various reasons I am now turning to Blood Angels. I like how BA seize the initiative, are capable of the highest levels of speed, and can go toe to toe in a melee with all comers. So this is my noobish new list...

The raven holds a squad and the dread, pred can outflank or just run with the raven. Mephiston joins the squad outside the raven in order to create a dual target.
I am looking for general impressions and advice. This list may be pretty pathetic... but help would be great.I am also looking for a list that is competitive.

The only issue i'm seeing is the lack of anti tank fire power, one multimelta and the rest of it would have to be thru melee attacks.
Maybe put some meltas on the aslt squads.
And i dont have my rulebook handy but if the aslt squads have jump packs i don't think they can be in the stormraven.
A secondary weapon (HB) on the Baal predator really pays off, otherwise one weapon destroyed and you've got a useless piece of AV 13...
