Quick rundown
Ryan F. plays the Dark Eldar which never loses.
Kendal plays Orks, played him last week.
Robb, no idea
Shawn plays Space Wolves and is Locclo here on Dakka and my opponent for this week.
Eric plays marines as well as some guard. His stuff is always well painted. He is Lewa2321 on Dakka
Never played against Jeremy.
Dan is the new Demon player. He is Beefwhistle on Dakka
Ryan C. is me. I play terribly.
Trent is the employee at the store who runs the campaigns. He plays Necrons if we have an odd number of players.
We all started out at 500 and in just two weeks the differential from first to last is 150.
This weeks mission, AKA Pong:
A lot of people grumbled about this one but I thought it was way better than last week’s.
I tried something new with my list since most missions in this campaign will use victory points ala 4th edition.
Big Mek with Shokk Attack Gun deployed with 3 Lobba Big Gun unit. What the hell, it’s different and the Lootas will keep them company.
Big Mek with
KFF in
HS Battlewagon with 6 Mega Nobz, 2 regular (Cherries), 2 Skorcha (Oranges), and 2 Rokkits (Lemons) in their dedicated BW which is identical to the
HS BW’s.
13 Lootas. This is the very first time I’ve tried them out in a “real” game. They did “meh” due to all the cover saves. All felt terrain pieces were supa-tall trees like the moon of Endor or Cah-lee-for-knee-ah. They don’t jive with the rest of the Kult of Speed but I felt I owed it to my opponents to at least try and give them a challenging game.
3 Mobs of 20 boyz and no Rokkits or Big Shootas. 2 went in flanking BW’s for the Big Mek and one just stood around and got shot a lot.
3 units of 1 Rokkit Trakk each. These things were fun as hell. Mostly because they’re just as annoying as said hell. A bonus is they actually killed something.
2 more Battlewagons for the Boyz. Can never have enough. 2 Big Shootas which look like a Leman Russ Battle Cannon, damn those Orks are clever. Deff Rolla, Armor Plate (love that upgrade!)
RPJ, and the ubiquitous Grot Riggers. I can’t believe they used to be only 2 points!
Locclo had 3 wolf Troops in Rhinos each packing 2 Meltas I believe. Maybe one unit had 2 plasmas? Vindicator (which I secretly wish the Orks had) and a leader with 4 Termis in a Redeemer. For once the opponent had more burny power than I. Twin-las Pred with Las Sponsons. 2 Dreds in Drop pods.
12” deployment zones with the Pong objective in the middle. It started out as my dice cube but I picked it up right away due to my
RRS, Ronald Regan Syndrome, so we used a pop token instead.
From the left:
His stuff after I blew up a Rhino (slow on the camera)
Quick spoiler. I had above average luck in this game but Locclo’s is the worst I have ever seen in my 32 years!!! He failed an enormous amount of 3+ armor saves!
First Turn:
BW’s and Rokkits move forward, Orange Boyz move forward a little, I’m hoping to counter-charge something with them. Shooting sees the Rokkit Trakks take out a Rhino. Lootas glanced the hell out of another Rhino,
SAG does nothing, Lobbas do nothing. Mobile objectives sactters to the right.
His first Dred in Pod scatters onto the Terrain piece on top of the picture and kills some Loota’s in terrain. His Land Raider and Vindicator wipe 9 boyz of the board from Orange Mob. He also wrecks the Big Mek’s BW (not shown in these next 2 shots). He imobilizeds the other 2 BW's. Mobile objectives sactters to the right.
Second Turn:
The Big Mek and Mega Nobz move out towards his Rhinos. Rokkit Trakks move up. Orange Boyz spead out. Here's after the movement phase.
The Mega Nobz aren't able to pop the Rhino in front of them, Lootas glance the hell out of the Vindi again. Rokkit Trakks do little,
SAG does nothing. Lobbas are able to kill some of the Marines way in back

Mobile objective starts to move more towards the center.
His Dred on terrain hops down to shoot a BW up the Poop Shute. His brown Rhino moves away from the Mega Nobz and
KFF Mek. He fires as many shots at the Mega Nobz as possible but his rolling is god awful and my 2+/5+ saves have me losing only a single Nob. His
LR moves closer to the Lobbas and
SAG Mek almost on top of the mobile objective. It's now sitting inbetween his Termies in
LR and my Grotz. Take a guess what happens next!
Third Turn
The left BW repaired itself last turn and does a 180 to ram his walker. Locclo is awesome so he Death-or-Glory's but fails. The BW crew feels a slight bump and hears a little pop over the roaring engines as the
2D6 Str. 10 hits expoldes the Old Warrior in the Can.
The Rokkit Trakks blow open a Rhino and I call the Waaagh. My Mega Nobz multi-charge his wolves, the Brown Rhino that moved 12" and his Vindicator.
The Big Mek and a single Mega Nob get 12 attacks and need 6's to hit his brown Rhino. I get 4 6's

and you can see the Hand of Mork lifting the Rhino to heaven. Also the imobilized Vindicator is auto-hit 12 times and goes bye-bye.
His brown Rhino wolves flee into terrain and the other group is able to get away from the Mega Nobz and flees 1" from the table edge. I wish they would have gone all the way but instead regroup for some more punishment.
He then procedes to lay complete waste to the grots and
SAG Mek. The
SAG Mek never rolled doubles or 11 but still didn't accomplish much. I don't regret taking him this week but he didn't earn back his "Fun Points" so back in the box he goes. Shawn kills two more Mega Nobz from shooting but they pass Leadership tests just fine using the Big Mek's Bosspole. Orange mob has been taken too many shots and flees from the field. He shakes and stuns one of my Rokkit trakks. Good thing they're in seperate units of one each.
Turn 4
The Dred-Crunching BW turns around again looking for that
LR. The mobile objective has moved completly away from his Termies towards his deployment zone

The Red Boyz jump out of their still-imobilized BW (it eventually self-repairs but I forget to move it for the rest of the game) looking for trouble. 2 of the Rokkit Trakks move and start firing on his Las Pred which is so far away it hasn't been in most pictures this game. Mega Nobz and
KFF Mek shoot and assault some Wolf troops. Lootas fire at Termies doing nothing.
His second Dred in Pod drops between Red Mob and the mobile objective. It's able to kill 7 orks from shooting. Not bad. Shawn wrecks 2 Rokkit Trakks. The Termies with Leader jump back in the
LR and roll towards the table center.
Turn 5
The Mobile Objective has moved right next to a wrecked Rhino. Red and reincarnated Orange Mob (supposed to be yellow mob but was too lazy to get them out of the box) assault and tie up the his second Dred. My BW rams his
LR but only gets 2 hits with a 1 and 2 for
AP.

The remaining Lootas remove the twin-lascannon from the Pred.
His
LR backs up, drops out his Termies with Leader, and fire on the BW with little effect needing rending shots. At some point in the Melee the Nobz from Zombie-Orange and Red mobs pull both arms off the Dred. I start thinking about Monty Python. His Termies slam into Orange mob and almost completly take them out.
Turn 6
Most things are tied in combat and the Mobile Objective veers way left at the end of his turn. The only things within 12" are my Battlewagon 140pts to his 5 man wolf squad which is less than 140 points granting me a minor victory.
Post Game
This is the third week of our Wacky Campaign and a lot of people didn't like this mission. This was the first official use of the Lootas and they did fine. I'll be putting them in next week. I am very disappointed I didn't kill any Terminators and would give myself an F except that I did squish a Dred and ripped the arms off another. Locclo is a great guy and I haven't played him in awhile. Like I said, he had the worst rolling I've ever seen while mine where better than average.
So go ahead and check the same link for this weeks standings, I moved up a little.
P.S. Redeemers kill Orks!
