I'd like to get a few tips on this too.
Light is always a must as said. My set up in this department is sadly very poor.
Also a tripod is essential given that the camera tends to have to be floating in the air rather than resting on a desk.
Backgrounds are a must to pull the eye in towards the models and hills used as risers tend to help.
I find that my biggest problem is framing that many models.
I'm thinking that the thing to use would be a wide angle or fisheye lens allowing me to get closer to the models whilst still fitting the whole army in the frame?
Any clues?
