I'm a noob, I have a (what I believe to be) decent sized army. If any vets out there wanna kill some time showin me the ropes for an hour/two, that'd be super awesome. I'll even buy lunch.

I'm not too interested in 40k but if you know anyone who want to play Dark Heresy or Rogue Trader let me know. I'm in SE Portland and hang at Knightfall Games in Beaverton every Sunday/Monday.

Edit: Also Knightfall is a GREAT place to chill out. Tons of 40k players in there ALL the time. Always ready to play a pick up game or teach a newbie. Very relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Editx2: Let me put it this way. I take a two hour train ride every day I want to go out there just to be there and soak up the vibe.

I play at Rainyday games near Aloha. plenty of nice folks there and I'm sure they would be glad to show a new guy the ropes.

Also i do play Dark heresy and I've been itching to play a game and not have to GM it.

I'd be willing to DM a game, but Aloha sounds like quite a drive for me. It'd be the better part of a 40 minute drive with a car that is, to be honest, not all that reliable any more. Is there a place we could play that is a decent compromise?

My free days are Sundays. Well, pretty much any day but I have to leave for work around 4pm. Mondays I play Rogue Trader with some friends at Knightfall Games.
