The above is exaggerated, but seriously this mas one of the most painful things to read from GW in a long time and that says a lot.

Oh don't get me wrong i think the rules are going to make for some crazy fun games, i just think they should have found a way of calling units something other than spearheads within Spearhead whilst in a spearhead formation.

I swear they did it just so they could say "We put a spearhead in your spearhead so you can spearhead while you spearhead."

This isn't without precedent. In Codex: Chaos Space Marines we have the Chaos Space Marines qua everything in the Codex, Chaos Space Marines as Chaos Space Marines (Troops), Chosen (Elites), Havocs (Heavy Support), and Bikers (Fast Attack) in the Forces of Chaos section, and Chaos Space Marines as the name of a unit of Troops in the Army List section.

I am not just talking about the names of the units.

Have you read the PDF or the WD article?

They use spearhead as a noun, verb, adjective, and proper noun in the course of one paragraph and they do it the whole way through the article/rules.

Haven't read the PDF and I don't read White Dwarf, so 'no' on both counts. I'd imagine GW's R&D department has made great progress in the field of innovative amphiboly though.

HA HA HA thanks Gwar, I am bringing that into my gaming club today I know several people will crack up from that.

Nurglitch: I would definitely recommend checking it out the rules are actually quite good and is going to be a ton of fun to play. But the new rules are a testament to GW's long history of not QCing things before they are sent to press.

Um, it hasn't been that long at all, actually.

You obviously missed all of the 'blood' shout-outs in the latest Blood Angels codex?

Was it in the fluff? I read the unit entrys but I didn't read the actual history or anything, I don't play Spehss Marines so I was really only interested in what I was going to have to face.

The Blood Warrior of Sanguinus (latin for blood, of course) marches to bloody war with an army of blood angels, in their deepstriking blood raiders and SUPER fast blooderators. Armed with bloodswords and gore claws, they make anything they encounter bloody.
