Which one and why?

not sure about split second, but it looks like you can send missiles/place traps in Blur from its trailer. so i say BLUR!

Split Second.

Blur is visually awful. They use the "blur" effects to the point they never had to draw or render a background, and it just hurts the eyes to play.

Split Second is an AMAZING racing game. With so many different ways to affect the track, you can run the same track 4 or 5 times in a row and have a different course each time.

only difficulty I have with SPlit Second is the game is more fun when you are behind. I'm used to being out front and leading, and the game is actually less enjoyable because you don't get to blow stuff up. Although having to dodge the attacks of your competitors can be very challenging.
