Went to a big shopping mall today and went to park in one of their multistorey carparks, as I was waiting to get in I was watching some of the people inside going round and round and round the same level trying to find spaces. Normally I wouldn't think anything of it, but this time I just thought to myself what a bunch of idiots, because blantently above their heads and dotted throughout the carpark are overhead displays telling you how many spaces are available. And the one there quite blantently read LEVEL 1 FULL - LEVEL 2 329spaces - LEVEL 3 100spaces - and so on for all 5 levels.
How thick are people sometimes?
Even worse, it was these guys/gals who were causes the queue's to get it and preventing normal smart people who have already spotted the signs from getting to the upper levels where there are spaces aplenty. I'm so glad I don't drive for a living
Another one I loved was some years ago, I went early to Birmingham for a meeting and entered a extermely large car park. I was the first one in so just for laughs I played around enjoying the space available until eventually parking at the furthest end. I then went off to grab a take away coffe and was literally around 3-4mins. When I walked up to my car, there was a lovely Audi parked next to my car. He or she had all that space but inisted on parking next to me lol
Would cringe to hear some of your account of carpark idiot stories if you'd like to share

Some car parks have a light above each space, activated by a magnetic sensor in the floor, so you can see from a distance if there are any empty spaces on your level.
So I've heard, I've never seen it in the UK.
This is a Japanese multi-level carpark.

I have just gotten to the point to where unless the place is pretty empty I pay the valet service. Especially at places where it is $5 for parking and 8$ for valet. That extra three bucks is worth it to not have to deal with the idiots in the garage. Besides... I am doing my part to help kep people employed.

I've seen it several times here in the UK. If you go to the Bentall Centre car park in Kingston, they have it there.

Stunt driving is standard in the Japanese driver instruction course.
