yes you may, there is nothing in the rules (either BRB or the IG Codex) preventing models of different regiments from mingling with one another. It may look weird in a game (although it might be a good way of keeping track of which figure is with which unit), but there is nothing in the rules preventing it.

The models for all IG regiments are interchangeable. If you avoid mixing them within squads then everything is nice and clear.

Fluff-wise, it's common for regiments from different worlds to combined into a large taskforce.

It's actually specifically allowed C:IG p40 (in the box).
