so here is the question since you aren't allowed to have two squads in a dedicated transport then are you aloud to combat squad space marines in a rhino?
Example have a rhino and combat squad some marines and have the sergeant and assault weapon get dropped off at one point of the board while the heavy weapon and 5 marines get dropped off at another end of the board.
Are you aloud to do this

Um... No.

Only one unit at a time in a Transport, though an IC joined to a unit can catch a ride.

Like you said, One unit per Transport.

2 Comabt Squads cannot therefore be in the same transport.

The Point of Combat Squads is to leave the Heavy Weapon behind while the Special and the Sergeant run about in a Razorback.

You can combat squad them at deployment, put one squad in the transport and the other squad on foot. You cannot have both combat squads in the Rhino at the same time.

However, note that they don't split until deployment so they can't go into reserve like that - either they're in the Rhino in which case they can't combat squad or they're on foot and might not arrive at the same time as their Rhino. Stupid, but that's how it is.

I'm pretty sure they can't be in reserves as Combat Squads. You make that decision when they are deployed, which would mean that you roll for the entire 10 man squad and decide when they come in whether or not to split up.

Yes, that's what I said. However, if they're in reserve in the Rhino then they cannot split into combat squads (because they will come onto the table in the rhino).
