So after getting my teeth literally kicked in by some Empire, who was running a rather good army I decided that going with my 3 sorcerer Tzeench army isnt going to cut it at that high point value...Gabbing the 'dex for my WoC I decide to see what I can do with a little advice from here and some friends....

4000 On the nose...

Not only will this list get absolutely slobberknockkered by any other competent general out there, It actually hurts my eyes to look at.

I did read your post,after the game as my cell was dead, however I am also trying to work with what I have for minis, I was given a bunch of them, and I am still working on building my force. If there are specific changes you feel I should make IE add this remove this. Please feel free to let me know and I will do my best to get the minis for it. this is only my forth or firth fantasy game, and Before my friend who was teaching me made me the High Elf list I was using.

3) That's a LOT of sorcerers! Too many... you've got over 2000 points in characters, mostly sorcerers. There are magic items that end the magic phase for a turn... and that's basically all you've got. The other units look fine, but you have too few of them! Too many eggs in one basket... I would try to cut out at least a third of the points you have in characters, and get more units!!!

Or, if you are limited on models (which is nothing to be ashamed of! I can't field 4000 points at the moment...) you can just play a smaller point level, rather than reaching this point level through half of your points being in characters. Anyone should agree to a smaller point level game to help you fine-tune things a bit, before breaking out 3 Lords and the like for such a high point game!

At that points value Vilich is insane.

He is far and away the best caster in the WOC book. At the very least he'll suck all the dispel scrolls first couple of turns and then go bananas.

O on a side note we rolled, I lost 1500 points, the dward player lost 150? maybe? The empire player lost 899 ( unit of kngihts with heros my warriors flank charged) and the O&gs....well they had like 750 pts left....

Wow, this list looks so much better, imho! Much more balanced, more numbers, etc. Only about 1200 points in characters (not bad at all for this point level). Very fast units, with some decent blocks, and those trolls. Good to hear that you guys did so well

How do you have such a large force (two of them?) for fantasy, but have only played 5 games or so (from your post above)? That is an excellent Chaos force!!

I have been collecting a Chaos force since the launch of the new Minis, I played about 10 games or so a few editions back as WoC but lost all my Minis in a house fire. so after paying bills and ect this week I decided to just but what i needed. the only proxy i had was clan rats and trolls from my skaven army.We all had a blast and are thinking of doing it again ina few weeks with 2000-300 pts per player.
