I played a 2500 with my crons against my friends tau. The list for me was as follows...

I put the destroyer lord with the scarabs, won the game by 3 kill points (lost all the destroyers, like usual) Any suggestions to better this list? I'm considering replacing the scarabs with wraiths

You stacked Necrons well enough. Was PO even a concern? If not, the only other thing i can think of is maybe sub in a Monolith and/or Deceiver for some more fun and strategery. Besides that, stacked warriors and destroyers looks good to me.

Monolith? At 2500 points, with 3 to 6 RGs? No, I disagree. That'd be a dead Mono by Railgun. Automatic.

The Tau Achilles' Heel is h2h. Got flayers? More Scarabs? Anything to add mobility (except a Mono) ... VoD works like that, yes?

VoD doesn't re-roll WBB like a monolith, plus i think nightmare shrouds better to play against Tau with they're low leadership and tendancy to hang near they're board edge. I didn't even think about flayed ones, thanks for the idea!
