Right guys I've searched and I can't seem to find gamers near enough to me.

I'm a bedfordshire gamer, although I have always gamed in Herts. I live in the corner of Herts, Beds and Bucks so am in a great spot for some potential gaming. Just wanted to see if there are any gamers from my part of the world who fancy gaming? The only club near me is in Bedford, but I don't fancy that.

So, any MK to Watford gamers?

Im High Wycombe. Just found a club im going to next week. Try ageofstrife and go to the gaming club forums.

Im planning on converting my garage to a games room this year and would like 2-3 games a week if poss.

If anyones at a central point , I dont mind travelling. Hemel seems cool.

Home counties are generally commuter towns around 30 miles from London. Where you can actually afford your own home!

Lol, I've actually got loads of old advanced heroquest figures which could prob make a small army! I'm a 40k man but will give you a shout if I wanna play some WHFB.

I went to the club last night. They had a 40k campaign going on. about 6 tables and everyone over 21.

Met a couple of nice guys and got a game next week. A bloke I met at Uxbridge is hosting a 4 man tourney for March. He lives in Hayes.

I'll do the legwork eh^ will keep you updated. I know its far but its worth the travel to play some quality games with decent people. (really its no more than 30mins).

hey man im in bedford, i play 40k or warhammer but not got full armies yet but will do very soon blood angels are on there way for my birthday.

Excellent stuff guys. I consider the Home Counties to be Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

I've spoken to TehJohnny before, but nothing materialised about it. High Wickcombe can be done, that's pretty near where I am. Nidsplitter, Bedford isn't on my doorstep, but I'd still be up for a game. Wargames Workshop is in your neck of the woods - Google it.

Rubicant - Hemel is good for me, I know loads of people in the Hemel/Berko area.

Tek, try ageofstrife and go to the gaming clubs link. The halls in dead centre of town and after 6pm theres free parking 1 min from the venue.

I only played 40k, which were with Orks. I did start a second Necron army ages ago, but the interest died out with them.
The local GW has a lack of older players as well which is disappointing.

Well the store I go to ranges from 19 - 50 during the week, most of the time there is a distinct lack of young'uns =P

There is a wargaming club in Hemel Hempsted which is very active. Just google hemel hempsted wargamers.

Im Reading based and generally hit the local GW every Thursdays(soon to be Tuesdays) for fun and games. So if anyone is around then give us a PM and we can organise a game.

I have to say ive sorted my gaming out. My local club plays till 10pm on Mondays and Uxbridge GW is open till 10pm Thurs and is on my way from work.

If anyone wants to meet at the High Wycombe club, let me know. Im going tonight and will find out about booking tables etc.

Well... to be fair i'm just getting back into the hobby after about 6 years so i may need to pick up a new system. I have an imperial guard army and a bunch of Cryx, but haven't played since 3rd ed 40k and Prime mk1! Also have Space hulk v1989.
