Been Around the Block





I been reading many articles, i had some bloodletters get frosted on me a while back. I've read and many of the stuff people use are testor dullcote ( wich is better the spray or brush on)
krylons matte finish. what do you guys prefer.

I only use Krylon Matte Finish. I refuse to pay twice as much for the Testers.

Also

1. Don't spray if any of your paint or glue is still wet.
2. Don't spray if it is raining.
3. Don't spray if the humidity is over 80%.
4. Don't spray with the can closer than 8".
5. Don't spray too much.
6. If you only have 10% left in the can, throw it away. the last little bit always comes out poorly.
7. Shake well. Hold the can upside down to get the solids that have settled in the bottom of the can to move around. Shake until you think it's done, then shake 30 more times.

i travel the world chasing waves, and cannot transport spray cans, as well as usually being in humid environments...

i've had every brand of spray varnish go wrong at one time or another...
now i use the Vallejo brush-on Matte varnish...
i've not had a foggy finish since i made the switch...
