**General Seric**

Hello, I am wondering what to buy next for my Guard army; and I am having trouble deciding. I am trying to decide which would be of the best utility use in a semi-mechanized Guard list: Chimera, Hellhound, or Valkerie. I currently have a command squad, 2 infantry squads, a Sentinel, a heavy weapons squad, a standard Leman Russ, a Leman Russ Demolisher, and a Basilisk. Thanks

I find the hellhound model is quite cool and has some neat rules to go with it but both the valk and chimera have transport capasity which is needed.

I would suggest on some more infantry first then go onto the slightly more interesting stuff.

I'd round out that Sentinel into a Sentinel squadron. Before that though, get more Guardsmen! You only have one platoon there. Get the battleforce (I'm assuming you already did, given what you have) and you'll be able to run a second platoon and bulk up the sentinel squadron.

Well, I usually use them as Grenadier Veterans and the Command Squad as a Company Command Squad, but I probably will get another Battleforce at some time so I can run a platoon. I actually bought another guard squad but that was so I could have all the heavy weapons, and make my own Marbo.

Leman Russ Executioner, sure theyre expensive but my 2 always make up the majority of their points in turn 1 by wiping out a tactical squad each :>

I second more guardsman, you'll need more. But the Valkyrie is not only great addition but an awesome model!

Another decent model you could include is a Vendetta with 0 upgrades, scout moving, fast skimmer with 3 twin linked lascannons

Of the three you mentioned, I would say go with a Chimera or a Valk.

However, My best advice would be to bulk out your sentinel squad and add more men, either guardsmen, Penal Legion, or Vets.
