Are ICs required to move first if you are assaulting, or BEING assaulted? When concerning placement and use of sanguinary priests this becomes a very important question, and I have not been able to find a clear answer.

Thanks.

The next one of you that posts about Wraiths being I2 and ignores the whip coils mentioned 2000 times a week, and I am going to devote the rest of my life to becoming an ancient space god to trick and enslave a race, and turn them into soulless T-100s to rid the entire universe of life. At that point it will have been worth it.

So please, think of the wee, lost questions, afraid and far from home, and post them where they belong.

Thanks.
ICs are only required to move first in a Defenders React or Pile-In move.

In fact, the assaulting rules make it clear that the closest model HAS to be the first to move, IC or not.

So, in short, When making Defenders React, ICs move first, if they are unable to get into BTB, they just have to move to somewhere else.

What DOESN'T happen is you getting a 2nd chance to move the IC. Once the IC has moved, that's it. You can't move it again once other models have moved out the way.

True dat, explains half my posts. But in this instance lets keep it polite, if further posts are needed after Gwar's explanatory post which is pretty on point.
