I've been playing 40k for about a full year now and I got started with blood angels at the end of 2008 by receiving about a 1500 from my best friends brother who gave it up. I

started with that PDF codex and I was really disappointed with what little success I had with them and how they performed in a tournament I played in, maybe it was the fact that I

wasn't experienced enough with them and that's why they weren't effective. However I really liked the tyranid models and started a tyranid army with their older codex and have

been using them for the most of my career. I found them more effective with the old codex because now with the new codex I'm not doing as well as I was doing and with the

power boost the blood angels got I've picked them up again. I haven't played with the new codex yet but am planning on it soon, and in the mean time while I build up new stuff for

the blood angels I'm playing with my tyranid. So I'd just like to say hello to all you members here at dakka dakka, I am no stranger to forums as for a while I've been all over

librarium online.
