1) Grey knight uses NFW which is supposedly has the ability to grow stronger as a grey knight increases/hones/improves/gains his psychic powers...so if a grey knight were to be lock in combat with a chaos sm with a power weapon, would he slice through the Power weapon? If the answer is no what about a GrandMaster replacing the normal Gk (GMs kill Daemon Princes in a single swing)...

2) Why is it listed that justicars get power weapons?

3) Since the limitation of a NFW is based on the Gk itself would it make sense that the GM are able to cut through tanks, defilers and maybe even force fields since their weapons channels psy powers...?

A Nemesis Force Weapon is really how all Force Weapons should be IMO, but basically a Force Weapon amplifies the psychic power of the user and lets them strike the enemy with their mind every time they wound them with the weapon. As all Grey Knights are psykers of varying levels (getting stronger as they become more experienced), how strong of an effect this has on the weapon depends on their level of psychic power.

2: Because Justicars are powerful enough that the force weapon lets them cut through armor with psychic power.

3: It would, but GW and making sense don't always go together.

The people in the past who convinced themselves to do unspeakable things were no less human than you or I. They made their decisions; the only thing that prevents history from repeating itself is making different ones.

it depends on the GKs psychic ability.

in the Rouge trader era PWs had a chance of destroying a mundane weapon in CC.

A GKGM would totally pwn a CSM anyday of the week. Inititive5 makes him go first.

Maybe once a new codex rolls around, they will make a GKGM as powerful as they say they are in the fluff. And by that, I would assume they would be on par with the Sanguinator, or at least Mephiston, maybe with a few wargear choices as well.

they actually have MORE wargear choices then most other charectors.

they will hopefully be on par with SM chapter masters at least. WS6, come on. the GKGM is 5

I also think a GKGM is costlier than a SM Chapter Master as well, but I don't have my books here with me. But yea, AT LEAST on par with a chapter master, preferably stronger though, since these guys have been fighting the nastiest of nasty daemons for centuries before being elevated to a GKGM.

yes, he costs 45 pts more.

he should cost the same as he has better wargear, but a worse stat line.

Lets see...

Chapter master is 120 pts base with a BP/CCW, has slightly better stats, and comes with a 4+ invunerable save and has PA as standard

GM is 145 pts base, has a S6 force weapon, slightly worse stats and terminator armour as standard.

Yes, chapter masters are cheaper and slightly more suvivible, but in some ways a GM is better plain.
