Ello everyone.
So after reading the rumors for 8th Edition I thought it may be a very profitable time for pulling out my Orcs and Goblins again. This is what I should be running. Please inform me of any list construction errors and I will fix.

I'd drop the Black Orcs to eight big and use them as a Grimgor Deployment System. Drop the Champion regardless. Use the saved points (should be at least 172) to upgrade the Boar Boyz to Savage Orcs (the only way to field them with some degree of success).

If you can, I'd upgrade the Night Goblin units to at least 24 big - they'll need as much numbers as possible to put off a panic check, especially with this age of dice rolling.

Unless War Machine-hunting with the Spider Riders, I say drop 'em.

The problem that I see with this list (as far as getting it ready for 8th ed) that I see is the lack of standards.

If standards are required to capture objectives (as the rumors lead me to believe now), then you only have 4 units that can claim the objective.

Personally, I just wouldn't feel safe with that few units especially as animosity could hold up three of those units. And the Black Orcs are probably going to be shot at with everything the enemy has.

I agree with both points above- bigger blocks of NG, and more standards!!! Probably bigger blocks of black orcs, too... depends on the exact rules that are coming out, of course...

for your theme (10 is the best) i would giveyou about a 2 or 3. Grimgor doesn't like gobbos. Wouldn't have any in his army.

Other than that, it looks alittle light in the hitting department. Well besides Grimgor and hs Black Orcs, if you can get both giants or both chariots to hit one unit you may have anot option. Just some food for thought.
