Ok, so now that most of my DIY marine army is modelled i want/need to start painting it. My color scheme is going to be

My question is, i want a very dark grey, one that i can lowlight with black, however im not sure if charadon granite would be a good paint to use or not as i am unfamiliar with the citadel foundation paints. What color to use for hightlights over that if it is good to use? if its not, is there a suitable reaper or vallejo dark grey?

P3 has a color called Cryx Bane Base that is a very dark dark grey with a hint of green. They also have a Cryx Bane Highlight that works beautifully to highlight the same color.

You can mix either black, brown or dark blue into whatever gray you use as a base to get your desiered shade.

The GW line is somewhat limited in selection unless your willing to make your own colors.
