I want to convert my valks to vendettas. Do I have to model each weapon with two lascannons? I doubt I will get this done before ard boyz though :(

Yeah, they have to be double Las', as they must be represented on the model.

Generally speaking, twin-linked weapons tend to be modeled with two of the same weapon together. I can't really see the problem though as all you need are 6 lascannons from HWT's.
That or FW's vendeta conversion kit is cheap (for FW) coming to less than £15 with shipping if I remember correctly

Or you could say the pilot's a crack shot...? I do that for my exodite dragon riders. Supposed to have TL Shuris, but they've only got the one so I say they're deadeyes and it flies in the tourneys I play at.
'Ardboys might be different though, weird that they don't require painting but your models better be wysiwyg.

What harm can it do to find out? It's a question that left bruises down the centuries, even more than "It can't hurt if I only take one" and "It's all right if you only do it standing up." Terry Pratchett, Making Money
"Can a magician kill a man by magic?" Lord Wellington asked Strange. Strange frowned. He seemed to dislike the question. "I suppose a magician might," he admitted, "but a gentleman never could." Susanna Clarke Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell

No heavy bolters in that.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."
This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

2 Valkyrie kits net you with a Lascannon for each side of the hull(and anyone would be a fool not to keep the multilaser on a Valkyrie), and then all you need is 4 HWT lascannons(easy enough to get)

This is my Rulebook. There are many Like it, but this one is mine. Without me, my rulebook is useless. Without my rulebook, I am useless.

Sentinels and the HW teams are a great source. I coupled two sentinel lasers to two larger HW team lasers in offset pairs with the smaller gun on the outside. Looks pretty cool. The I cut the multilaser barrel and glued it next to the cockpit laser. Looks close enough that nobody notices.

The only difference between the vendetta and the valk is the lascannons. If you want a vendetta, just stick lascannons on a valk, or get the conversion kit which is pretty cheap.
It doesn't need a whole kit for itself. Automatically Appended Next Post: DarknessEternal wrote:wizard12 wrote:Generally speaking, twin-linked weapons tend to be modeled with two of the same weapon together. I can't really see the problem though as all you need are 6 lascannons from HWT's.

Uh, okay? Who cares? The valk comes with heavy bolters.

Hey guys thanks for the replys.... my problem is getting the money for either. Spending 50 dollars-100 dollars to model 6 valks seems a little crazy to me. But I guess Im going to have to. I was going to use HW lascannons, but it seemed just as pricey on ebay

Valks are expensive. The FW lascannon kits are okay deals and look better than just bits. That's what you get when you make a 6 valk army.
