I've been looking at the pieces and making it swappable between the two kits is going to be messy. I think I'm going with one or the other, but need your opinons. I'm thinking Deathstrike, more for the cool factor than the game utility.

Manticore is much more usefull game wise. DS is cool but by the time you shoot it you are already in CC.

I decided to assemble it as a Death Strike. I bought it for the model, not because I have an IG army. The only time it would come out is for an Apocalypse game, or I'd make it one of the mission components.

In apoc it should always hit with the full 6" I am going to assemble the DS with some valk missles on the sides instead and use it as a stationary objective/cool one shot missle.

With a 80 foot Range, I dont think range is a issue.....

As a 40K player, I would say build the Manitcore.

As an Ork player, build the Deathstrike - ain't never seen one work right yet. An da boyz aways love a big boom.
