The theme for this army is for every model to have something to do with Grots, Snots, and most importantly, the least amount of Boyz/Nobz as I could get away with. I am going to build this army for fun, cause I think it will be fun to play. Any suggestions or comments would be most appreciated.

HQ: Big Mek w/ Shokk Attack Gun, Ammo Runt, Cybork Body, 'eavy Armor, Bosspole, Attack Squigg, 3 Oilers - 158 pts

I come up with 2499 pts. 44 Nob/Boy/Mek models and 249 Grot models (I included runts/riggers/orderlies/oilers as 1 a piece)

This is my first post here and I am new to the game. If I have made some blundering error (besides the basis of the army) feel free to correct. I am a kooky player and just do it for fun (every group needs a light-hearted player amongst them). I can't wait to get my models ready for this, haha.

That would be quite fun to fight, you could probably win a few games with that

Basicly the same concept as a mates ig army

SWARM!!!!!!
you kill 3 and 4 take their place, anyways **** thats a lot of grots, I'd need a lot of buckets, plastic bags and dog-catchers to beat that

Just got back to wh40k =D

I think you could make those meks kff meks, take 3 minimal nob squads, six battlewagons with grot crews ramming stuff. Hilarious and much easier to move around the table. That is a ton of models.

I love it! I have ran a army like this before with a few different changes here and there and for the most part it won alot, just a scary thought, if you toss in mad dok as a HQ you could give all of those grot a +5 invi save.... now that is a scary thought!

That would be hilarious. My only trouble, and quite a funny note in addition, adding cybork bodies to the mobs would cost me more then my entire troop choice in points, hahahaha

It does look like a lot of fun, but I have a few things to add.

I know you're going for tons of grots, but the majority of your riggers/oilers, etc are an extreme waste of points.

Your SAG meks are sitting in the back with no vehicles to repair, the oilers are useless. Big guns you say? No one is going to shoot at the gun itself when they can just kill the krew and it'll disappear.
Also your meks can drop a lot of their upgrades. Attack squigs only help you in assault, which these guys should not be in at all.
The bosspole is unneeded for two reasons, you already have runtherd with a squig hound to reroll your morale tests, and you cannot reroll a reroll so you can't use both.

I can see taking the bosspole rather than the runtherd entirely since you devour D3 grots, or only kill 1 with bp.

Cybork and 'eavy armour are an either or kind of thing, as well as since he's just sitting back in cover, he doesn't need either. Ammo runt is fine to keep.

Do each of the nob squads have their own trukk? Cause you can only have one unit and any attached ICs in any transport.

You should swap 1 or 2 of the Skorcha buggie squads to TL rokkits for tank hunting. Also should scrap all the upgrades off them. You're in a squadron so any vehicle that is immobilized counts as wrecked instead so the riggers are useless. Squadrons also make stunned count as shaken as well, so the armour plates are useless. Red paint is the only one to consider keeping, but mostly just not needed.

Zzap guns are mostly terrible. Average str is 7 which is alright for light vehicles, but you can get 8 str with kannons for cheaper. Kannons also don't have a chance to kill your krew, which can eventually kill a gun.
Big guns batteries aren't all that bad, but you should take kannons or lobbas, preferably kannons. Fire the shell at vehicles or the frag at what comes out.
On the big guns you can keep the ammo runts, but the additional krew and runtherd are unneeded. They just make it a bigger target and harder to hide. 1-2 extra crew is alright.

The nob squads aren't going to do much. They should either be in a single squad of 6-8 with fully diversified wargear, (which still doesn't have a place in this list cause you don't want them footslogging and a transport sticks out way too much), or scrap them all for something else in the elite slots. I would suggest either lootas or a 15 man kommando squad with snikrot and 2x burnas. With ambush they can come off any table edge to the enemy in the back while your tide advances.

You would only need one mek to have a KFF, the other could keep his SAG. Put the KFF in the gretchin squad that is just behind the front squad strung out in a line in front of everyone.

This will be a fun list to play, though I wouldn't count on winning a lot.

You must understand that for an ork a day that starts off killing something with your bare hands, and ends with those same hands being chopped off in battle, is a good one.

What's betta than one choppa? Two choppas!!! Two choppas is one more than...is one times da...IS LOTS MORE FUN!! WAAAAGH!!!

Agreed, but with the cybork thing..it almost makes a single grot useful.... after all they are the brains within the ork race afteralll.../sigh. but in truth, I think the main reason I won with my army of grots was because people couldn't stop laughing as the grot walked up and shot them in the face.

i've written a similar list (and tested its abillity to deploy in standard deployment, its a tight fit... blast weapons will not be your friends)
Although you could take the nobz as nob bikers and model tham as about 5 grotz trying to ride the bike.
Miniture Grot deaffkopptas as 'counts as' stormboys would be hilarious aswell.

If you can use your non-troops choices to create an effective army list and convert them to be grot-krewwed monstrousities then bravo to you sir
