2 scientists create a human animal hybrid and things go very, very, very wrong.

It's not gross. There's no torture. Not a chainsaw in sight. But it's got likable protagenists, messed up sex, cool special effects and a decent plot.

Worth the $11.

$11!?! I don't know where you live, but that's harsh! My local Cinemark is $4. I agree about Splice, though Clive's decision made absolutely no sense. I just wonder now whether there will be a sequel, and if so, how crazy will Else be?

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

I'm in DC. I can't remember when films were under $10.

I live on Long Island, and I am pretty sure the lowest price around is an off-hours matinee for around $11-12.

Well, thanks for the thumbs up for Splice. Wasn't sure I wanted to watch it.

Mania gave it a good review. I doubt that I'll see it in the theatre, but maybe catch it on pay per view. I like Sarah Polley and Adrien Brody, so big plus.

In the dark future, there are skulls for everyone. But only the bad guys get spikes. And rivets for all, apparently welding was lost in the Dark Age of Technology. -from C.Borer
