Just like Ragnarok screwed up the Thor and his boys, 8th edition is stirring things up for Warhammer Fantasy. So why not enjoy the chaos and use "I don't know the rules!" as an excuse for getting your butt kicked?

The new book goes on sale July 10th, and we'll be holding a tournament on July 11th! That gives you a whole day to figure it all out!

Where: The Bunker at Granite Run Mall
When: July 11th, 9am registration, 10am start time, pairings at 9:45am
Cost: 15.00 pre-reg and 20.00 at the door

Details:
-3 Games, 2 hours and 15 minutes per game, 2000 points.
-Armies do not have to be painted or based, it's a new system, try out something new and see if it works. But we will have prizes for best painted armies, although it won't figure into the overall score.
-Any new FAQ or Errata released by GW will be used. Confusing contradictions will be solved by the TO, possibly by scratching his head and rolling a dice.
-Scenarios? Maybe. There are rumored to be lots of scenarios in the new book, we might use them. More details when we get our copy on June 15th.
-Comp? Nope, who the hell knows how the rules work now or what's balanced,
-Sports? Nope, no sports scrore. Don't be a jerk, and

Food? YES! FOOD! Mike will be barbequeing, smoking, or otherwise applying fire to some type of meat and throwing on a table.

Other than that, we're a bit light on details until we get the new rules.)

Schedule:

9:30 am First Round Pairings
9:45-12:00 Round 1

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

Awesome . It looks like I'll be making it up for this, as well as the doubles tourney at the end of this month. Nothing like trying to figure GW rules out together
