If a model comes with a pistol and a CC weapon as standard equipment is the extra CC attack from having a pistol already factored into the units stats or do they get an extra attack for having a pistol/CC Weapon combo even though it's their standard equipment?

I'm sure this has been discussed previously but I was unsuccessful in searching.

They get an extra attack. Chaos Space Marines have an attacks characteristic of 1 but get 2 attacks due to their pistol and close combat weapon.

Unless it says it is included in their profile (normally with a 2nd number in Parenthesis), it isn't.

So a model with 1 attack and CCW and Pistol (like a Chaos Marine) has two attacks in most cases. A Model with 2 Attacks and CCW and Pistol (like an Ork Slugga Boy) will have 3 attacks.

What if they have a Bolter, Bolt pistol and CCW.
If they shoot the turn they are attacked do they still get the extra attack for the Pistol and CCW, or are they assumed to still be busy with the bolter and only get the one attack.

Since the Bolter is Rapid Fire, if they use it they cannot assault. They are free, however, to shoot once with their pistol and then assault the same target unit.

What if they are assulted after they've shot a rapid fire weapon?

You get the bonus attack.

If you fire a rapid fire weapon you cannot make an assault move that turn - however this is not the same as saying "you dont get 2CCW bonus"

It doesn't matter. You get the bonus attack merely by having both weapons on the model. Using some other equipped weapon has no effect on it.

But the Pistol/CC weapon doesn't apply to regular Space Marines, as they don't have a CC weapon listed in their gear.

It is pretty funny. The most "advanced" warriors that humanity can produce don't even get a knife. Bolter? Sure. Knife? Nope.

Carrying a knife to a gun fight is not in the Codex Astartes and is therefore heresy!
