I thought of starting a blog just for my Orks (which are my main army) but as I frequently switch projects it seemed a more sensible idea to have one blog for all of my projects. I'm currently expanding my Goff Ork army to include more tanks and the new Dreadnoughts and Killa Kans ready to play some Spearhead games! But other projects on my paint station include a newly built unit of 10 Corsairs and a half build unit of Cold One Knights (the beginnings of my Dark Elves army). There is also a half painted Bretonnian Damsel, a Dark Eldar Wych (colour tester) and a half painted Ultramarines Dreadnought!

Seen as the main project I'm working on at the moment is my Orks, it seems fitting to start the pics with them!

Here's the 1500 point army I took to last year's UK GT (sorry the pic is a bit fuzzy) I'll take some better pics of the entire army.

Here are 2 Dreadnoughts that I've recently finished painting

And here are some Killa Kans which are still WIP

c/c welcome

Thanks for all the comments guys, I tried a new colour scheme on the skull face and I'm quite pleased with how it came out. I haven't been doing much with the Orks lately, I still haven't finished the Killa Kans, although I did manage to build my latest purchase - a FW Mega Dread to lead my Dread Mob, I enjoyed building him, went together very easily. I think I'm going to wait a bit before painting him, get some of the smaller things done first.

I got side tracked with painting some reinforcements for my Ultramarines, and have a Vindicator (finished except for some squadron markings) and a squad of 5 Legion of the Damned models, which are almost finshed - I haven't decided what method to use to highlight the black armour yet, I may try something new. The pictures of the LOTD models aren't all that good, I think I need to make a light box!

Anyway, enough rambling on, here are some more pics of the Ork army in my original post as well as pics of the newly painted models.

I've been working on my marines, finished a couple of squads now as well as the captain. Most of my Ultramarines are painted to a basic gaming standard, and I've been taking them a squad at a time to finish. Here are the pics:

Tactical Squad 2

Captain Fabian - I normally use Sicarius' rules when I field this guy

I'm working on 2 Dreadnoughts at the moment, so I'll post pics of them soon. The metal is finished on them, the armour needs to be highlighted and some details added. I'm trying to decide how much battle damage and weathering they need.

Lovely work on both the marines and the orks here. Tell me though how did you achieve the white on the mask of the first dreadnought. I would like to get something similar for my veteran helmets.
