plan is to have the mech force shoot everything down for a turn 2 assault from the vanguards heroic invertention supported by dante and the guard/sang priest and the sanguinor all dropping via jump packs. vanguards hit something expensive or important and dante and crew blow up a tank with no scatter. been very successful with this list in the local scene here. what do you guys think?

Monstrous creatures are going to be a problem, as they will eat your assault squads for lunch I think. Perhaps the assault cannons will take care of that though.

I would pick one of those HQs not both, that is 1/5 your army in 2 models, and both will go down to a few powerfist attacks, i suggest taking Dante since you probably want him with your Sanguin guard

Use the points on more troops choices, you will need them for objective taking, you only have like 17 troop marines.

Next drop a ton of those power weapons, drop al the 2x lightning claws and put on power fists, drop the vanguard squad down to a relic blade equivalent for the sarge, and maybe 2 other power weapons, then the other 3 should take melta bombs. that should be able to take on what ever you run into, except a 30-man boys squad lol


all that should give you points for another 5 man squad in a Razor back and I think another prist to ride with them
