Figured to post some Canis WIP pictures. Unfortunately i forgot to take pictures at the very start but if you don't notice, i added a helmet/headpiece thing onto Canis and a bit in the wolf's mouth. I personally do not like to see faces, so the helmet gave a nice alternative look. Also, Canis had to be one of the worst pewter model i have put together! Not only was everything heavy pewter there were alot of gaps between pieces i.e. the wolf's legs. Green stuff ftw. The old pewter dreadnoughts were made better than this guy imo. Have not done anything with the base though, any suggestions?
Sorry for the low quality pictures. I need to buy a better camera. Any camera recommendations? This camera tends to wash out alot of the detail and color :-(
I assume your already using the macro lens on your current camera? Try getting a blank notebook and opening it so the page rests against the wall and the next page is under him then get 2 lamps and position them on the left and right of him about 10-15 inches away pointing at his left and right sides respectively this will give you much better lighting, also go into your cameras menu and set the lighting to the lamp icon or lightbulb icon this should adjust the colour balance so it wont be all yellow.
If your really want a new camera I'd recommend one of these

In regards to the model it's looking great, the mask is a really cool idea .
Thanks for feedback! For the camera i am using, i am using a Sanyo Xacti 10megapixel. The photos above were done in the evening with natural light (the flash drowned all the detail completely out). Camera isn't the greatest in this aspect but I don't have any other option at the moment.
Just tried to take a few more pictures with the Sanyo camera. Left the flash on and backed the camera away from Canis. Cropped the excess around the model out of the photo. I guess I could do the white background but this seemed to work decently. Photos seem a little large so bear with me.
