This is for a 40k Team tournament this Saturday
I am teamed up with Deamonhunters, this may be a weird team up but it's the only team i can team up with O.o
Here is my list:

HQ (Bought used)
Commander Shas'el
2 Fusion Blasters (Twin Linked)
Cyclic Ion Blaster
Total- 95 Pts

1 Crisis Suit Bodyguard
Missle Pod
Plasma Rife (AKA what me and friends call the penis gun)
Sheild Drone
Total- 82 Pts

Stealth Team (3 members 1 shas'vre leader)
2 with burst cannons
1 fusion blaster
Markerlight drone
Total- 136 Pts

2 Teams of fire warriors
12 Pulse Rifles (Team 1)
12 Pulse Carbines (Team 2)
Each team has a photon gernade and bonding knife
Total- 275 Pts

5 Pathfinders
3 Pulse Carbines
2 Rail Rifles
Total- 90 Pts

Devilfish
Burst Cannon
Gun drones upgraded to SMS
Total- 100 Pts

Broadside Team
All have TL Railguns and SMS
Leader has a Target Lock
Total- 225Pts

Grand Total- 1000 Pts

Plz tell me if it doesn't add up to 1k Pts for sometimes the Tau codex confuses me. Plus I've been told target prioity tests arn't used anymore which makes me think the Target Lock is useless so if someone could explain to me what it actually does that would be awesome. And also I can replace anything with 1 Pirana I currently have if needed so. If I need to add more info about anything tell meh

Thanks

All over the U.S.

The Target Lock was Faq'd as just allowing the player to target a different unit.

OK, now a few ideas:

1) The CIB is a waste on the Commander while he is carrying the TL FB. The CIB should be paired with the Plasma Rifle with both on the commander with a multitracker & HWTL.

2)Drop the bodyguiard for a monat shas'ui. The commander can start the game joined to him. I would suggest A Twin-linked MP with a targ array.

3)Drop the Fusion on the Stealth. It will just lead you to try to get to close and get them shot up. The markerlight is a bit of a points sink. You could get two more Path finders for the price but to each their own.

4)The devilfish should get a Disruption Pod. For 5 points you increase its survivability by 50% by taking the DP. Also, Take the multi tracker, it will turn the d-fish into a warfish that can move 12" and still shoot a weapon.

5)Points and equip are off on the broad sides unless you are taking drone controller and sheild drone(Which would be a good idea). Would also be good to give one of them a TL.

6)There would still be room in the list for optmization after all of this but I will let others suggest some ideas.

Hope this helps

Everything focusedfire stated is the advice I'd give. Also, proxy the carbines on the FWs as PRs. PRs are generally just better in every way.

Add a Target Array to the d'fish; your 7 dice may as well hit better.

Flesh out the Pathfinders to a full load of 8.

Shield Drones are great for B-sides
