Hey everyone, I've returned to the hobby after a long absence but have only been playing intermittently over the last year or so, so please bear with me. Can any squad member fire from the top hatch of a Chimera (with special weapons, for example) or must they use the lasgun emplacements? My marines can fire assault and heavy weapons out the top hatch of a rhino, can my guardsmen fire grenade launchers?

Yes, five members of the squad can fire out of the top hatch with whatever weapons they are eligible to fire based on the movement or lack of movement of the vehicle. There are no more 'lasgun emplacements' on the IG Chimera.

Five models can fire from the top hatch, using (almost) whatever weapons they like. They're not stuck with using the lasguns. It's in the Guard codex, in the Chimera entry.
Edit: Forgot an important word there. Fixed.

Awesome, thanks for the clarification. I must be illiterate as I read the Chimera entry in the guard codex several times and didn't see any reference to this (seriously, I might have some kind of neurological disorder, I better go get that checked out).
also thanks to the mods for putting this in the right spot.
