Busy somewhere, airin' out the skin jobs.

What are your opinions on it.
I'm about to pick up a new computer that can run this game. I'm a huge Star Trek Fanboi and I played City of Hero's/Villians for a LOONG time so its safe to say I'm a Cryptic Fanboi as well.
Just looking for a little input on how good/bad the game is.

Is an MMO ever worth it?
Seriously though, I have no clue, I have yet to meet anyone who's ever touched it.

No no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no no.
And it is better to play EVE online than what Star Trek online is.
STO is unfortunately nothing really interesting. Only play it if you truly like Star Trek.
Otherwise, EVE online.

There is a free trial so you can download and try it for yourself. I enjoyed the Beta but it really is a love or hate type game. If you have friends that play it or join a fleet it can be quite fun, but going solo is a bland experience.

It sounded weird to me, and the limit on klingon or federation seemed crappy.
I'm waiting for The Old Republic, it's shaping up nicely, has an excellent pedigree and enough money behind it to not be rushed (unlike EVERY other mmo in the last 5 years) and be a very polished thing from the get-go.
Oh yeah, and you can do a darth vader strangle as an attack...
