I have seen this bomber in WD magazines and on the FW website http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Images/Product/DefaultFW/large/marauder.jpg

But apart from that don't know anything about.

So what are they like? Are they good In battles? And are they good models? Or are they overpriced bits of plastic?

Awesome pieces of kit - very detailed, wreak havoc on troops and vehicles, and looks damn cool in the process.

What all are its weapons? From the pic it looks like it has either 2x lascannons or a twin-linked lascannon plus a TL heavy bolter turret on the top. Any other weapons?

It's a bomber, so I would assume it has bombs

Standard Model has twin linked Lascannons and two turrets with Twin-Linked Heavy Bolters (one dorsal turret, one in the rear). It also has a Bomb Bay that can carry either 12 Bombs or 6 Heavy Bombs, plus up to 12 Bombs or several Missles under the wings. A very nice Tactical Bomber with other words.

The Marauder Destroyer Variant from the 2nd War for Armageddon is more of a low level attack craft with 3 Twinlinked Autocannons in its nose, Twinlinked Heavy Bolters in the dorsal turret and twin linked Assault Cannons in the rear. Additionally it can carry either 6 Bombs or 8 Hellfire-Missles on Hardpoints under the wings.

Some serious dakka anyway :-)

Sounds like a very effective aircraft to me. Is it worth the cost or is it better to have some thunderbolt squadrons?
