Pun intended, visited my local FLGS and noticed that about 90% of the Necron products were taken off the shelf since the week before. Only thing left was the C'tan boxes and the Heavy Destroyer box. Has this been happening at any other stores or just a coincidence?

Runnin up on ya.

Ask your FLGS, maybe they don't sell in your area and they're just not restocking...

Six mistakes mankind keeps making century after century: Believing that personal gain is made by crushing others; Worrying about things that cannot be changed or corrected; Insisting that a thing is impossible because we cannot accomplish it; Refusing to set aside trivial preferences; Neglecting development and refinement of the mind; Attempting to compel others to believe and live as we do

I did but the guy working at the counter at the time didn't know anything.

Meh. I wouldn't panic until they don't sell them on the GW website anymore.

It's kind of the same thing with Dark Eldar. You can't blame them. If 15,000 People play Dark Eldar and 625,000 play Space Marines, they will make room for the Marine Player.

Or maybe someone walked in and bought a Necron army?

Stuff does not get instantly restocked. And even if GW was phasing them out, the store would have stock until someone bought them out.

So I'd go with "Taken off the shelf, brought to the counter, and purchased". I haven't had any trouble re-ordering them, and have heard nothing from GW about them going away.

....and lo!.....The Age of Sigmar came to an end when Saint Veetock and his hamster legions smote the false Sigmar and destroyed the bubbleverse and lead the true believers back to the Old World.

I think I figured it out. The blood angel stuff that was stationed at the 'NEW' rack is going to be put there since the spearhead models were released. Makes sense as the marine wall is right next to Necrons.

Necrons shouldn't see any type of removal in stores until next year when rumors make it sound like they will get their codex revamp at that time.

And I think most of the current Necron figs are pretty solid works and won't be replaced anyway when the new stuff comes out. If Flayed Ones become Troops I could see them being redone in plastic, if not then maybe Immortals. And I'm still hoping they replace the current weedy little Tomb Spyder with a plastic kit the size of the current Carnifex.

So, question answered and no real news here then?

This thread looks done and dusted to me.
