I am planning on heading there Saturday for the tourney. When I called to sign up I was told, "There is plenty of room left, only 40 or so people are coming so far".

How many of those are from DakkaDakka?

FYI, Great Escape Games (the Sacramento store hosting Ard Boyz) runs 40K tournaments every other month that at times have 70+ players. They will have lots of room for you Ard Boyz.

Well cool, a bunch of folks from Sac. Funny, I just got back from GEG about an hour ago. Go there Mondays to paint.

That BA player was good and we played a fun game. He beat the snot out of my Tyranids. I did bring a rather silly list, but that is not me trying to talk out of it.

I cannot remember who got 3rd either.

Well I was the Tau player that you played Kirsanth (at least I think so, if I remember correctly I played both tyranids players that were there and I know I was one of 2 tau players) .

They put a lot of time into the terrain and it shows. I think for the next part of the escalation tournament (not Capitol Punishment the indy GT they're running this coming weekend) they'll probably have 70+ people again.

As far as placing goes I think it was #1 Chaos, #2 BA, #3 IG but I'm not sure about #3.

For my 3rd tournament ever it was a lot of fun, though I wish I'd been able to finish my 1st game out to turn 6.
