Hey all,

Just in case you can't decide whether to purchase Stimulus and the new Resurgence map packs, a quick review.

I am having a great time with them. The revamps of the old maps are welcome (exs: Vacant, Strike, Overgrown) and still a lot of fun. New maps bring a whole different level of play - Trailer Park has no second floors and is maze-like, Carnival is just plain wacky, Fuel is HUGE.

So far my favorites are the revamps, most have a nice balance for Team Deathmatch, which I prefer. Something I wanted to note which is a question I had - the new maps are cycled into all the regular games automatically once you download them.

They also do something unique when they release the new maps (like Resurgence pack). There are a few multiplayer modes where you only play on these new maps.

Hope this is helpful if you weren't sure about getting them. I think it's a very good "investment" if you still enjoy playing the game itself.
