I was just thinking what does a 2500 point army actually cost. So took my list to g'dubs site and priced it out. Now of course I didn't take into account some of my stuff is really old, the bits I used to create some of the modles, and some is AoBR I just took the boxes it would take to recreate my list at the current price points

It came out to $846.25 (usd) not including the estimated tax

I am curious what anyone elses price tag is

If I bought everything new, and did not include the cost of extra bits would be clsoe to $710, but I am running less than 50 models.

On Dakka he was Eldanar. In our area, he was Lee. R.I.P., Lee Guthrie.

Do you mean to imply that GW set the points level high to encourage sales of more models?

I'm writing a load of fiction. My latest story starts here... This is the index of all the stories...

We're not very big on official rules. Rules lead to people looking for loopholes. What's here is about it.

Well 2500 pts where a popular points cost even before Ard Boys around here so it dint sell more miniatures really, most people like to stop an army around 300pts here, im not sure about everywhere else tho

When GW sent me the free 2500 point army, the total on the invoice was just shy of $700, as was the 3000 point fantasy army they sent me.

So im guessing $600-$800 is a good range.

Inside a pretty, pretty pain cave... won't you come inside?

Not playing Ard Boyz this year, but my ork army would have been around $450ish thanks to AoBR providing a lot of cheap bodies for conversions and deffkopta to warbuggies bits.
