I think it's at 9 or 10, they didn't say on the commercial.

Glad to hear they resolved the issues with the original cast of voice actors as a comeback would have been a complete waste of time without them.

I hope that they will depart from what the movies have been like.

Of course Futurama will go through the growing pains of returning like Family Guy did. Awkward at first, and hopefully smooths out in the long run.

Used to love Futurama but think that time has probably moved on, for me at least.

I will give it a go when it hits the shores of ol' blighty just to see if it has its spark back.

The first one or two were fine, but the problem with the direct to DVD format is they needed high stakes each time. You can only have the Planet Express crew save the universe so many times before it ceases to be Futurerama.

I'm probably in the minority here, but Futurama [including all 4 of the DVD movies] is my personal favorite form of Entertainment, ever.

I didn't see the movies skip a beat, and from what I've seen & heard, the new episodes will hit the ground running.

Of course, everyone's entitled to their own opinion, but I can't really see how anyone who enjoys the kinds of things that someone who posts on dakkadakka would enjoy didn't find Bender's Game to be an instant classic...

like I said, though, to each their own - but I can't wait!

Im a huge fan of the show as well. I just hope they dont start the singing and dance numbers. That gak is funny on Family Guy, and it feels like such a steal on it. Its annoying seeing shows that DONT do singing numbers, suddenly start doing them because it works on Family Guy. Seriously Futurama! DONT SUCK!

Just hope it is as good as it should be.
Will probably have to watch replays on somewhere else though.

Really, I think all the songs in the series were pretty good, the ones in the films perhaps not so much...
