I will have to see the Flagellants in person. The pic doesn't look that great. They seemed to look better on the sprue. It could just be the paint job or pic. I for one, will be using them in my Empire army

But I will probably pick up others for the WitchHunters.

I really really like the Wizard. Nice options in that kit, and the ability to make 2 wizards. Nice.

I love the Dwarf. He has that "come get some" look on his face.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

The wizard(s) look nice. I'd like to see their component sprue before I decided on buying one though.

There was a post here on dakka a  while back that showed them.  Here is the link:

Since I am at work, the site is blocked, and I dunno if the link still works...

The Flagellants are definately something I can see myself buying though, but as others have said, it'd be for Daemonhunters/Chaos Cultists, so the gym-rat arms don't bother me. If I was actually using them for a WFB Empire force, though, yeah, they're a bit OTT.

A lot of the newer Empire stuff works well in that whole Inquisitorial sense, really. Shame I never get around to finishing this stuff...

The new Flagellents are pretty crap. I do like the model in the stocks- that could be a useful bit for conversions. Otherwise- fake, over the top muscle arms, lack of character. I'll take the current metals, even the OOP metals any day over these ones.

Hm. Squinting at the wizard sprues, it looks like there are only two bodies, but several variant heads, arms, and loads of variant staffs, etc. Nuts! Only two figures total!

How many Wizards do you need?

Depends on the cost. If they're the same as the SM Captain they'll be reasonable, if they cost as much as a regiment, that'll be clearly over-the-top.

I have two Wizards already, so these will be all I ever need. If they're too pricey I'll keep using Confrontation or other Wizard models.

I love the fact that you can make both The Monarch and Dr Orfeus off of the wizard sprues!
