So what?  How do you invent something brand new?

Seriously?  Isn't the definition of the word invent to make something new?  Otherwise it wouldn't be called inventing, it would be called reventing or something.

I agree that WO had an opportunity to do something different that WoW and create a unique game and instead the only people it is going to draw away from WoW are those already in love with the Warhammer background already.

Agree, Poison. It's what I've been saying too - Blizz was a marketing genius and made MMOs playable to anyone and not just stinky guys in parents' basements. It doesn't matter if they ripped anyone off because anyone who's played WOW as their first MMO doesn't really care. But, assuming the casual crowd tries WOW and then tries WAR. From what I've heard and what you've said, what would they see except the exact same game with different graphics?

I'm sure that for some, like those who claimed to leave WOW because of that other fantasy MMO that came out a few months ago (because it was the next big thing and Blizz would see how wrong they were to not give in to the demands of nerd rage! I don't think I even hear about that game anymore) or because "GG BLIZZ IM CANSELING MY AKOUNT" they'll try out WAR because they're hardcore or non-mainstream or whatever. But I still don't see why any of the other million WOW subscribers will.

So anyway, who else can't wait for the inevitable "Warhammer Online bubble burst" excuse?  Oh, and Starcraft: Ghost is on "indefinite" hiatus as far as your query about what games Blizz has made that hasn't been on the top-selling charts. I'm sure that even if the game was glitchy, everyone would buy it because it has that "hot future chick."
