Hell yes there was a problem with the old demonettes. The freaking arms would not stay on and you get tired of constantly re-glueing them. Too bad I will not be needing them for the new Chaos codex generic demon crap.

Just because you don't know how to assemble models doesn't mean the rest of us don't.    I've never lost an arm on a daemonette.  Try pinning them.

I prefer the current metals to those plastic models.

I, for one, like this new, family friendly chaos god of hedonism. It's good to see that GW cares about the well-being of us all and managed to get the daemonettes to wear more appropriate attire. Why would Slaanesh want the current seductive models when he can have these goth chicks in corsets with claws? Farewell, nipple. May we never see you again. *sigh*

QFT (unfortunately)

Though the nip will ride again, as I suppose I'll be buying another box of metal girls soon ...

EDIT: Almost forgot, the new jetbike is my favorite thing I've seen from GD UK so far, with the possible exception of that one tankbusta ork

They are not bad, kind of an ode to both the old fugly crabby girls and the newer nipple girls. The poses are kinda meh compared to the suberb poses of the metals, but if they are plastic that can be fixed with a bit of work.

And honestly I like the claws on these ones more then the current blob/claws (which I never cared for).

I suppose one could grab a few different demon girl mini's from other companies and proxy for the sexier daemonettes. Personally I would be shocked if any male players complained, and if they did, you could taunt them about it for the duration of the game.

Win win. Even better if you could get alternate models that looked like your opponant's mom, but that might be tricky to approximate.

There are a few nurgle minis that come to mind.

They now smoke bongs. Is heavy drug use considered hedonism?  I think it's pretty nifty.  Excess and pleasure ain't all about nasty, guys.  This has been confirmed by a druggie acquiantance or two.

I think they should've just gone ahead and made them what they were really going for: hippies. They should've kept the nekkid bodies and added the hookahs.  Or if you're playing fantasy I guess it'd be musical.

Am I the only one who's pretty impressed with the new Daemonettes? Especially if they're going to be plastic as rumoured? I mean, sure, maybe  they're not quite as good as the metal ones, but they're like 90% as good. I'm sure they'll be easier to build, will be more poseable, and possibly even cheaper. Just throwing it out there.

That is an awesome jetbike, though to be honest, I think the chopper look is just as good. It's really all the additional detail work that comes with current gen plastics that tips the balance, IMO. (And the rider, needless to say.)

She's totally out of it. Look at the way her head's positioned. "La di da oh man this is great. Oh wait we're having a battle? Whoah that's pretty sweeeet but let me get another toke first.[...]Oooooooh yeah."

Oh, since when did demonettes have command groups? The current models only have the chicks with claws in the boxed set. Is there a blister with a command group I don't know about?

Since the Daemon list in Storm of Chaos.

Presumably the Daemon Codex coming out next year will replace that list and also include command groups.

EDIT: The Command groups in GW pics are generally conversions. There is a Daemonette with standard metal around somewhere though.

THE CURRENT  edition of fantasy has no command for demons. last edition did. you do seem affixed to the hooka idea don't you.  been hanging with the hippies lately?

also, we don't know if they demons are going to revert to commands as they did in storm of chaos, where all demon armies had them.

Farewell and adieu to you fair Spanish nipples... farewell and adieu, you nipples of Spain.  Farewell sweet nipples.  And Godspeed.

And yet, it should be noted, that in the midst of our sorrow, this death takes place in the shadow of new life, the unveiling of a codex, a codex that our beloved daemonettes gave their nipples to protect and nourish.  They did not feel this sacrifice a vain or an empty one - and we will not debate their profound wisdom at these proceedings.  Of my friends, I can only say this... of all the nipples I have encountered in my travels, theirs were the most... human.  *cue bagpipes*

Daemonettes - Where the f#*% are their nipples? Don't tell me GW is going soft coq in regards to Slannesh, it's Slannesh?! ...well at least their plastic O.o

Unfortunately the plastic casting process doesn't allow for undercuts or nipples.

I'm sure green stuff won't suffer from that problem - I think even I can just about manage that conversion!

And from those shots, and without seeing anything, hard to tell if there is a nipple anyway. Not like they would be huge things. It's just a dab of paint anyway....

I really like the new Daemonettes. For some reason they show more warlike character than the others to me. I still like the first ones the best.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain. Time to die.

I would rather see time placed on making a warlock and farseer bike set instead of this. Just because the jetbike was an old kit odesnt mean it needed replacing. It has always been one of thr better kits out there. The only thing that needed replacing was the helmet, a throwback to 2nd edition.

Way over rated, and they don't come with a tight set of rules, you need to really get into understanding intent or you'll have a hard time. There are some nice models though, especially with the recent improvements in plastic bits. On the other hand the plastic models tend to be expensive.

I would watch it makeing those offers on the internet unless you like being inundated with hundreds of PM's, most of them will be Mafred of course.

I like the new Daemonettes and the one titted ROC look.  They will have to go into a seperate unit so as not to clash with my pretty metal 6 titted and but ugly  4th edition ones.

Really? I think both the Shining Spears and the Warlocks will look really hot on the new bikes. I can see the Shining Spears with lances or Warlocks with Spears angled in over the right side of the canopy. And there's a great pose for a Witchblade Warlock waiting to happen with one holding the sword to the side and slightly behind.

Like those bikes. The daemonettes, though, I'm guessing they're kinda "meh" due to having to be ranked up in WHFB
