So does that mean when you see the third Mass Effect
game it will be Mass Effect: Apocalypse and bring about
the red light of doom?

I don't know about you guys but I found Ass Effect to be generally sub par and a huge let down.

Reasons:
- Bad AI for both enemies and friendlies
- No real side quests that differed from more than the 4 or 5 generic layouts of the building, camp or cave on the "explorable planets" (Different textures don't cut it)
- The vehicle was almost useless and it was better to jump out and fight then fight from inside. Was fun to just drive around in though.
- Excruciatingly long load times(oh wait I mean fun elevator rides...)
- Frames per second issues.
- Texture popping.
- The list goes on.

Had a good story line, but really killed itself after all the neat gak they promised and then dropped. But hey its the first in the series, now that they have an engine and some content to draw from hopefully the second will be more like what the first should have been. Oh and if you are playing just for the "romance" scene get God of War instead. It shows better action and more boobies (at least in the North American version).

Note: D+ can take over 12 hours of driving in Canada. It's no small task here.

GENERATION 5: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

There were a few technical issues, no doubt. But I think they can be overlooked if you make it to the end. The story and voice acting was so compelling I was able to look past those flaws.

That's is one of the reasons I like Assasin's Creed so much, because the graphics are rock solid and on a massive scale.

As for the vehicle, most folks that hated the mako did because they never figured out it had two weapons: a mini-gun and a main cannon. The main canon can kill anything in about two shots.

The tech issues and the clunky vehicle handling were minor blemishes on an otherwise brilliant game.

But you got to drive around blowing people across valleys, cruise the galaxy looking for stuff to loot, insult people, talk people to suicide...
Downright awesome. Coulda done with a bigger ship, though.
