So what exactly does he mean that the goods are odd? I mean, are the chicks a bit homely or hard to look at or something? Or is it more to do with doing exploratory work on some chick convinced she just stepped out of the dark ages? So long as we're not talking about con barges here. Griz don't wrestle above his weight class, it's just not done. Not like I take it out of my house, or away form Mrs. Griz, but I think you get my point.

Closer to the second option. They tend to be a bit off in the head, and, while fun for a moment, can become a world of pain if not careful. Full on lady dementia.
Imagine the damaged father-issues psyche of a drama queen who thinks she's in the dark ages and go from there.

Agree with girls, but if a guy's muscular...I won't rule anything out.

Their fighting style is much more full contact, bash each other till uncle is cried. If you're wearing armor a location can take two hits, otherwise one, and I mean solid shots. It's a lot like sparring. When you go down, get a drink of water, then start again. 15 minutes of this action had me dripping sweat and staggering.
the website is www.edhellen.com , and they have links to other fighting groups as well. Have fun!
Yeah, that's Edhellen Armory, makers of some fine boffer weaponry that you KNOW you got hit by. They sell to anybody who plays anything from NERO to SCA, but the game that they (and I) belong to is called Belegarth ( www.belegarth.com). It's not tappy-tappy, bean-bag-tossing LARPing; there's real athletics going on, and anything's legal barring certain things like gouging eyes and using leverage to snap limbs.
I encourage anyone who's looking for hardcore, fun fighting that doesn't require the outlay for a suit of armor to go to the site and at least look around. Chances are, there's someone to fight near you.

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake;
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
