Meh. Even if he lost, it still would be a good read.

Actually Blackmoor won by a wide margin and took best overall.

Crimson Devil asked me to post some more pix of my BA army and Blackmoor said it is okay...

Here is a photo of some of my armor:

Here is a close-up of a couple drop pods along with their Baneblade:

Here is the Baneblade and some other vehicles:

Here is the Chaplain:

Here are some shots of the Death Company:

And finally here is Mephiston:

Thanks for posting them. I have to save I'm really impressed with the look of the army GBF. I'll be saving some of these for future inspiration.

You wish.

I have just been busy last couple of days, and it takes a little while to write these up.

Game 3 against Drop Troop IG should be up later tonight.

And your army looks nice GBF.

GBF, your army looks awesome! I don't car for the bases, but to each their own.

Question? One of the drop pods you have shown is the dread drop pod, but with some marines standing around it. Do you use it as an actual dread drop pod, or do you use it to represent a pod that could actually hold ten marines? I'm asking because I'm having the same dilemma myself, since the FW marine pods only have room for 5 dudes, and a pod in the marine dex can hold ten!

Typically I use the dreadnaught drop pod from Forgeworld for dreadnaughts. I think for that game I used it for a squad of Marines. It was a mega battle (pre-Apoc) so we brought just about everything to play with besides our kitchen sinks.

It is good to see you on Dakka. Oh, and I am looking forward to our next league game.

Hey Darrian does that make you Duke of LA?

LOL!! That is really funny because I had a pair of cutoff shorts that were pretty short. Back in the late 90's I did some fitness modeling and shorts like those were part of the uniform. We call them "get somes" in the gym because when you wear those, your gonna get some!

@thehod, no I am more of the Marsellus Wallace of 40K, and Blackmoor lost his "LA privelages"

Well, I'd like to say that GBF's Blood Angels/Flesh Tearers look really nice, especially the vehicles!
